Back then any Honda dealership could purchase and install Mugen products on any Honda vehicle. Som eof these places were called "MPC," Mugen Performance Centers.
It happens that the owner of Mugen that time was a huge fan of GT4 racing. With the help of King Motorsports and Comptech Mugen was able to implement their products in the IMSA and SCCA circuits.
