Street Image is not the first to make a Yaris race car, but they definitely have made a very unique one at that. This year I attended the 2007 Long Beach Grand Prix, and went around the car museum section they had in their main convention space. As I looked at all the Vintage Toyota race cars, I saw this car in the distance. After taking a look at the TRD Tundra street-drag car, I saw this stunning 4 Door Yaris.
The guys over at Street Image completely gutted this car and relocated the steering wheel to the center for a complete symetrical view. They also moved back the seating position roughly 2 feet. Looking from the outside in, it made the cabin look like a hard core race car. The car is fully cages, has an air jack system, and Tilton Pedal Assembly.
Street Image decided the 1.5 2NZ-FE engine was not good enough, so they shoe-horned a turbocharged 2ZZ-GE to make sure it will CRUSH the competition.
On the outside APR air foils, fender flares, and the too big 19" wheels.
