You see. When I first saw my boy pick up a carbon fiber hood for his Honda Civic, I was amazed because his car actually looked nice for once. Not just that, but the fact that the hood was lightweight, flashy, and well made his car look really really good, I'm telling you! But seriously, then he decided to get his grille, spoiler, dashboard, shift knob, door pillars, tail lights, etc. (oh trust me there is a lot more but you get the picture) all done up. Then he just looked really gosh darn silly.
What would be the pro to having carbon fiber? Maybe because it is extremely light and strong? Eh. but it scratches up and doesn't withstand side impacts all so well. Hm, I dunno if it's all that cracked up to be. Maybe you, the audience can convince to me why carbon fiber is such a plus to have when it comes to performance parts. In the mean time, let's take a look at what else carbon fiber has invaded in America:
I don't have to continue. You know how silly it is to have carbon fiber now. So just quit it while you are ahead.
