MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) are working on a foldable vehicle. Talk about not worrying about a place to park.
These scientists are deriving a way where the vehicle’s computer system can detect a tight parking spot and fold in half!
Bill Mitchell, a professor in MIT’s architecture department is quoted saying, "We have reinvented urban mobility.” The actual vehicle has yet to be built but a mini model mock-up is on display at the campus for your viewing pleasure. The actual full scale model is underway and may be available as soon as fall 2008.
This foldable car idea can solve the world’s continuing traffic congestion. With the built-in rechargeable battery, this car is economically friendly and can help reduce pollution and make the o-zone layer happy.
