SOCCER MOM ON THE GO? DO IT HYBRID
When the SUV hit the American market in 2000 it was considered as the savior of the American car industry. Today, sales of Sports Utility Vehicle have been at its lowest since 1998. Why is that? Could be because of all the Scion XBs (yes!), electric, and fuel-friendly vehicles.
Porshe decided to combat this problem and attack the market by releasing a Hybrid Cayenne. The Porshe Cayenne Hybrid can:
- travel up to speeds of 120 km/h (75 mph) without the use of the gasoline engine
- capable of powering the vehicle using electricity alone
- 3.6-litre DFI (direct injection)
- narrow-angle V6
- six-speed automatic transmission
- 34 kW electric motor
- power steering, air conditioning, power braking system all work electronically
- PLUS you get a return on your taxes because you drive a HYBRID!
So for all the men who suffer from mid-life crisis' or for women who have to succumb to the soccer-mom lifestyle, don't fret. You are now, "environmentally friendly." You can forget about pumping diesel, it's all about electric baby!
