I'm a proud owner of my 2006 Scion xB. And I am always interested in hearing or reading stories on xB owners and how this one vehicle changed their lives.
For instance, I came across an article about a man named Jim and how his newly purchased 2005 Scion xB is saving him roughly about $350 a month! If my math is still stable, that's almost about $4,000 a month!
You see, Jim used to own a 1991 Chevrolet AstroVan (my uncle used to own one too, I wish I had it just to have as my part van, bangbus style) and with today's gas prices he would pay an extravagant amount at the pump and get only 11 miles a gallon. Jim here is a handyman and would have to travel long and far for his clients. With the xB's spacious trunk area and foldable back seats, he can fit all five of his toolboxes without worry. ''For somebody who drives a lot, like me, it pays,'' Jim Lettich says. ''I call it my free car.''
Consumers all across the board are choosing fuel efficient vehicles more than ever. My buddy just purchased a Hybrid and cannot stop raving about it. Everytime I see him he is just bragging up a storm and on how he is saving so much money that now he can actually buy real food rather than Cup-of-Noodles everyday. This type of investment can pay out heavily and can save you money on a daily basis.
Nationally last month, Ford F-series lost to smaller gas efficient cars such as the xB and Corollas. General Manager John Grello, a car salesman in the city of Allenstown states saying, ''I'm selling more of the fuel efficient vehicles more than any other model,'' he said. It has gotten so crazy for him he even has the Toyota Corollas on a waiting list! Experts all around expect that the days for SUV's and trucks are coming to a near end and that the smaller economy cars and xB's especially will be the vehicle of choice for all consumers because of its great mileage.

Jim Lettich's 2005 Scion xB! His savior!
